Hi folks,
Haven’t posted in awhile but I’m still modeling now and then. I have completely stopped the Grand Prix project as I not satisfied with how these bodies handle and run. For now the standard TJET projects are dead. I may do some slimlines after Dash comes out with his new magnets for them.
I am returning to the skinny wheeled TJETS I love. I am building a small track called Circuit Genovia and it is up and running but has lots of detailing to go. Here is quick look and the main reason I am building it.
And here is a look at the track from above. I have added a road on top left that merges into the track. I will have to take another photo.
The track will be loosely based on the Charad Race Track in France. I found some great videos to use as a reference.
Charade 1958 1ère course Circuit de Montagne This is a sports car race.
Charade 1958 – Bolides This is a F2 race
Charade 1959 – Stirling Moss Another F2 Race
Here is the 71 Mustang and 1977 Camaro I made in the past. I remade the mold using Smooth-On’s Mold Star 20T. I really like this silicone so far. The 30 min de-mold time is great and I love how easy it pours plus its translucence is a bonus. No to see how many mustangs and Camaro’s come out of the mold. The Mustang has RRR 821 Narrow wheels and the Camaro has their 816-Slots
Hi everyone,
I have been out of the hobby for a couple years and just started tinkering again. I am working on a Ferrarir 156 for the standard TJET. I never finished the one I worked on before.
The exhaust are molded as a separate piece that is held on by rear body post mounting screw. I have to figure out where I will have to vent it before I can finish it.
